Child Fund International was established in 1938 and has developed into an world wide, non-sectarian, nonprofit child welfare organization operating with program offices around the globe and providing assistance in over fifty countries. CFI programs promote long-term sustainable development and are designed to help break the cycle of poverty. Through donations, CFI provides the community with knowledge, opportunity and resources to develop a healthy and productive child. Child Fund International sponsored children receive such basics as education, food, clothing, shelter and health care. In addition, they develop relationships with their sponsors and the CFI workers, they enjoy the benefits of loving attention.
