ABOUT US
In 1989 I photographed my first of what was to become hundreds of weddings. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago I studied photography at Columbia College of Chicago where I had the privilege to mentor under the guidance of Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, Eddie Adams. Later, I worked with famed Chicago Cubs photographer, Steve Green, whom I still work with from time to time to this day. After college, I was employed as a photojournalist for the Daily Herald newspaper racking up hundreds of assignments covering all aspects of news around the Chicagoland area. In June of 2000, my husband and I started our own photography studio, Cornerstone Photography, where I continue to photograph weddings and special events throughout the US and around the world.

Growing up I always thought I would be a veterinarian, but that all changed the day I started studying photography in high school. From that first class I was hooked on this art form. I continued to study photography in college and received my degree from Columbia College of Chicago. While learning the "ropes" of the photography business I assisted numerous photographers in the Chicago and Dallas area, learning more and more what it takes to run a successful photography studio. Eventually, I came to manage a larger wedding photography studio for a number of years but became restless. I wanted to create on my own terms, so in 2000 my wife and I started Cornerstone Photography. Since then I've had the privilege to work with hundreds of wedding couples and countless business clients helping them to create memories and marketing campaigns that make a lasting impression.
